Over 15 years of experience, K. Rocco Shields started out in the business as an editor and then switched gears to becoming a script supervisor for films like Pirates of the Caribbean, and eventually formed her own company, Wingspan Pictures which was later turned to Genius Produced. “The biggest thing that’s stopping people from having these amazing ideas is not being able to execute them. Hollywood is all talk, but very little action.” Shields has collaborated with over dozens of corporate businesses, universities, and production companies such as DreamWorks, Noodle Education, and many others. As a producer, she also writes various forms in commercial products (Doritos, Yoohoo, GIV Mobile), episodic (Unicorn Plan It) shorts, (Love Is All You Need?, Abby 33) and feature (Love Is All You Need?, Dear Zoe).

She has won over a dozen awards including RainBow Key Award 2014, Best Screenplay at the Napa Valley Film Festival, Winner of the Van Gogh Award in Amsterdam Film Festival, Outstanding Achievement in Filmmaking / Ensemble Cast in Newport Beach Film Festival.
